THE GOOD
We are surprisingly pleased with the UDI 818A Quadcopter. Seasoned technicians who have had access to these types of hi-tech devices for years are singing the praises of this particular model. We are especially happy with its ease of use due to the super-responsive controls as well as the fact that it is consistent in flight rather than operating at an acceptable flight level for a short time before plummeting to the ground or into trees, walls, etc, as do many models.
For those users whose kids are a bit heavy-handed, this drone can withstand some pretty rough hits and crashes and remained intact and fully operational. The function keys are easy to understand and provide a high level of versatile movements and total control when executing each one. Its simplistic yet effective design is also something worthy of note.
THE BAD
The trim of the UDI 818A HD + RC Quadcopter is slightly difficult to adjust. Some reports express displeasure that the camera position is not adjustable and takes photos from only one angle. More serious concerns include the failure of at least one motor shortly after beginning use and the frailty of the design and materials, making the device susceptible to easy damage.
